For many people, waste is simply "rubbish that has to go". Bring on the municipal bin, everything in and good. But waste disposal is so much more than just getting rid of waste. Sustainability means taking responsibility, even beyond the end of a product.
Everything starts at the beginning, of course, and disposal is no exception. We don't want to take the decision of which products and raw materials to buy off your hands, but we will be happy to show you which waste and recycling methods have a positive effect on your waste management balance. How waste is disposed of has a significant impact on its utilisation and therefore determines the degree of sustainability. The recovery routes range from landfill to pure destruction, recycling and the extraction of a new raw material. Basically, the better a waste is sorted, the more sustainable its utilisation can be. Unfortunately, separating everything and anything does not automatically lead to success in terms of the circular economy. Every recycling plant that receives waste has to fulfil various requirements, including a sorting quota. Nevertheless, it is not uncommon for waste to be thrown together again in the end and take a common recycling route. Very few plants offer every recycling route, meaning that waste is "only" sent for the best possible recycling that the plant can provide.

When choosing a suitable waste disposal company, there is therefore much more to consider than the containers on offer, the price and the CO² value of the transport routes. Keeping an overview is essential, not least because every commercial waste producer is obliged to document their waste streams and present them to the authorities on request.
